Susanne Hou
My name is Susanne, and I have about 8 years of professional experience as a software engineer. I've built software for a variety of different business areas, such as ecommerce, property management, finance and energy trading. I used to be primarily a fullstack developer, but these days I stick to backend, some devops and automation. What makes me passionate about speaking is that I firmly believe anyone, regardless of experience level, might have new ideas, insights or knowledge to share, and I think it's important to represent the women in tech. I also love listening to people talk about something they know stuff about, I love learning from others, and so I want to contribute to that.
Goals & Objectives
I hope to improve my speaker skills, but also hopefully be able to speak at 3-4 conferences a year. I would also like to become better at writing abstracts and get new ideas to what a talk could look like. Perhaps a different format or topic area than what I have thought of myself so far.
